I like the colors in this shot, the way that brick red jumps out next to the white building in particular.

wonderful. i like how the old facade morphs into something cleaner and more modern -- and cooler, with the blue of the glass and then the white next door, all aligned with the modern transitional brick part.

i'm enjoying your architecture shots. it seems like most of the newer/renovated buildings around here belong to the "toon town" school of exaggerated strip mall architecture, or else the "freaky weird angles and materials and lots of glass and steel" school of live/work loft architecture.

or, the "fakey kinda mediterraneanish townhouse hi-density urban" school, which *must* be painted with a palette of all of the following colors: avocado, brick, gold, sage, and rust.
