180/365+1: Water and Light

180/365+1: Water and Light, originally uploaded by Yankee T.

I have shots of this with flash (this one) and without. I went back and forth trying to figure out which I liked better, as I am 99% a non-flash person. In this case, it was the better way to go.
This is the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC. It may be my favorite, after Mr. Lincoln.

The FDR memorial is incredible. Great shot of the water feature!

I'm mostly a non-flash person, too.

Another non-flash fan here, although that shows it's a useful tool. Nice photo.

Yip, I'm a non-flash too - it's why I mostly post day pictures - haven't had time to read the manual to work out all that exposure malarkey. I love this picture, it's amazing.

I love all your memorial shots. I went to FDR the day it opened, and there was a terrific thunderstorm that washed almost everyone else away, so I had it to myself for about 45 mins.
