117/365+1:Break My Heart

117/365+1:Break My Heart, originally uploaded by Yankee T.

You haven't heard much from me about my Younger Daughter since early February. To make an incredibly long and painful story short and somewhat less painful, she's been away. And she's likely to be so for many months to come.

Today we had our first visit. It's "tax free weekend" here and we knew she would want some new summer clothes, so we made arrangements to meet her to go shopping. We brought her dog. Here are some of the photos I snapped of the 2 of them together.

Break my heart.

(Edited to add: If you click through to my photostream, you can see these photos in full-they're not cut off as they are in the mosaic.)

I'm sorry for the seperation. I'm sorry for the reasons for the seperation. Thinking of all of you.

I'm glad you could grab that time together.

The photos are sweet & lovely.

I sent you an email after you commented on my blog a while back, but I may have used a defunct email address. Anyhow, I hope you all will come out of this even stronger and better. Although I'm sure it would be nice to not have to be so damned strong all the time.

A girl and her dog need each other. Of course, a mom needs her girl, too, but all things in good time. Take care.
