45/365+1:Focus

Focus, originally uploaded by Yankee T.

My Valentine and I are escaping for a change of focus. I may not post tomorrow, but if I don't, I'll double-post on Saturday. We have a house/dog sitter, and we're sneaking off to a great hotel for a romantic Valentine's Day and some time to just be us.

I'm glad to hear you're getting away for yourself... and I like the pair of pictures together here.

I hope you have a rejuvenating weekend. Love this photo - I'm with you, I like the focus on the bark. :)

Great that you're getting away for the weekend. *Sigh*. I love that bark, but I like both of those photos.

Have a lovely time.

Forgot to add - I like the focus on the bark but I do like the other one because I know the front porch is special to your family.

i think the two shots work together really well as a pair. the change of focus causes the viewer to see things missed in the other photo. i guess it's kind of like a good relationship; the parties complement one another. (and that's about as valentine's day as i get.)

have a great trip!
