43/365+1:Froggy

Toad Hall, originally uploaded by Yankee T.

This is one of my favorite murals in the city. The problem is that the only time of day that there are not too many cars to get a shot (this store is on the corner of a very busy intersection)is first thing in the morning when the shadows are so deep. I watched the artist paint this over a period of some days, and it was wonderful to see Mr. Frog emerge.

I wonder if the shadow doesn't work for Froggy, he has a wonderful sense of glowing softly.
very nice.

The green of Froggy is very intense and lively. Must have been fab watching the artist at work. I agree with Gawdess, the shadows are a bonus.

These wall murals in your city are so cool.

The shadows make it look quite lovely. And I agree, so nice to watch art in progress and be surprised at the end. That was always one of my favorite parts of painting class ... other than the actual painting, that is!
