37/365+1: FUBAR*-The New Normal

Kitty Window, originally uploaded by Yankee T.

(*FUBAR)

Sometimes, when your life is totally upside down, you have to pretend things are normal. Sometimes, you just need to stop by the cat shelter on the way to work and snap a picture of a kitty through the window, to feel like you're ok. Perhaps I could have photoshopped out the milky reflection lines, but I didn't. I'm lucky I'm putting one foot in front of the other.
That is all.

what an interesting cat! i don't think i've ever seen one all-white except for the patch of calico striping.

here's to one foot before the other.

I think leaving the white in is fine, and kind of magical in this shot.
I particularly like how this kitty's eyes stand out.
One foot in front of another - keep on.

I really have to quit looking at your pictures from the cat shelter!!!!

One small step at a time. You're going to be okay. I just know it.

Thanks for posting pictures and looking at pictures as part of your "one foot in front of the other." I really value this 365 community and am so glad to know you.

I will be praying for all manner of healing and love and grace.

Yeah.

I'm glad to hear from you and know that you are still plowing ahead. Hanging on by one fingernail is still hanging on.

You've been in my thoughts a lot.

I adore the "fissures" in that beautiful cat's neck/chest.

I so wish I could put an arm around your shoulder and help you with some of those steps. Hope things get better for you all.

The milkiness reminds me of "ghostly beings" and "otherworldly spirits" on paranormal tv shows. Kinda cool.

Thoughts of peace and strength being sent your way.

hugs again. One step at a time is a great way to move forward.

Kitties have an amazing soul-healing quality.
