33/365+1:Not Quite Monochromatic

33/365+1:Not Quite Monochromatic, originally uploaded by Yankee T.

When the mist begins to lift in the park down the street, the colors of the leaves, grass, and trees begin to reveal themselves. We get this mist a lot in the winter, because it goes from warm to cold to warm with such speed.

Very cool. Some of the trees even seem transluscent!

I love that description of "reveal" very apt.
Very pretty.
Looks a bit like fall.

I really like that it isn't completely monochrome. The brown warmth of the leaves gives hope that not all is asleep in that misty scene.

Beautifully captured.

I love your misty shots. The are surreal. This one has less mist but more color, and shows a different look.

To show you how shallow I am, my first thought when I read this post was, boy I'd have to be having my hair straightened all the time if I lived down there.
Never mind the landscape, the beauty of the photo.

I'm a turkey.
