When I was leaving for my coffee run this morning, I threw my camera over my shoulder, as always. The moisture in the air hit me as I opened the door, and the pervading mist was stunning. I knew I had to drive through the closest park-the largest virgin forest in any city in the U.S.-to see how the mist and the trees interacted.

just so wonderful.
You're a walking travel advertisement for Memphis.
I can't wait to go there again.

Very nice indeed, what is your lens - I like this effect
I agree with Sis! I've got the New England winter blues. We all miss y'all.

I love the gray of the mist and the sharp black of the trees. Beautiful!
It was a little like that here yesterday morning as well. So pretty :)

Hi, what a beautiful photo. I was hoping to do a fog shot this morning but yours would have put mine to shame! I love your painted wall series as well - what fun! I found you through Audrey Mango and I hope you don't mind but I've added you to my blogroll.
This is absolutely beautiful. I hope you're printing this out and framing it.
